Equal opportunities policy
ABDO College is committed to giving everyone who wants to gain a qualification an equal opportunity to access qualifications and be assessed, in line with current UK legislation and EU directives.
ABDO College:
- Promotes practice and procedures that give equal opportunities to everyone, regardless of their race, religion, gender, disability, age, or marital status.
- Removes direct and indirect practices and procedures that discriminate unfairly.
- Widens access to our qualifications to ensure that people who are under- represented can be encouraged and included.
Reasonable adjustments and special considerations
All students are asked, at the point of application, to declare any pre-existing conditions, disability orĀ requirements to the College. ABDO College will then make reasonable adjustments for students with particular educational and physical requirements. Please contact the Courses team who can organise the appropriate support on an individual basis.
Complaints and appeals procedures
If you are unhappy about your experience or are dissatisfied about any aspect of the programme, then it is important that we know about it. If you have a complaint relating to any aspect of your studies with ABDO College please contact the Courses team in the first instance. We may ask you to submit your complaint in writing. If it is not possible to resolve your concerns in this way, your complaint will be escalated to the Head of Operational Services or the College Principal, as appropriate.
