Welcome to the Supervisor Zone

“Welcome to the ABDO College Supervisor Zone. This is a dedicated area for the supervisors and support staff of our students on the Dispensing Optician and Contact Lens Optician courses to learn more about the journeys our students complete and how their role contributes to their success. The pages within this section will guide you through the various topics associated with Supervision. These include the responsibilities of both the student and supervisor, the course structures, sources of support and advice available to supervisors as well as frequently asked questions.

Effective supervision plays a vital part of every student’s education and therefore the role of Practice Supervisor is one which is highly valued by ABDO College. We therefore provide a variety of channels through which both current and prospective supervisors can access advice. Be it by phone, email or online, ABDO College is always here to help.

As always, thank you for your on-going support and contribution to the success of our students. “

Jo Underwood – College Principal
