Tutor Marking Application Form

Please enter here the MAXIMUM number of student places you wish to make available for the September intake. ABDO College cannot guarantee a certain number, if any, students to any tutor on any course, however we use this information when planning allocation. Please ensure that the number of places you make available will be consistently manageable for you, across the whole academic year. January intake courses are dealt with separately via announcements on the Tutor Zone forum in the Autumn to allow tutors to review their circumstances at that time.
Due to nature of the optics industry it is inevitable that colleagues may work in different roles for different organisations. ABDO College requires all tutors to declare any potential conflicts of interest above at this stage. We define a potential conflict of interest as "association with an institute or company that provides optical education or training. This could be personal association or through close family or associates". Any declarations will be assessed by a Programme Management Team panel and relevant tutors will be contacted directly to discuss the findings of this panel. Please also ensure that any changes in this area are notified to the Head of Operational Services.
